Privacy Policy

Last updated: 20 April 2026.

This Privacy Policy explains how Advanced Analytica Ltd uses personal data in connection with this website, https://advancedanalytica.co.uk. It reflects how the site currently operates.

This website is primarily a static informational site. We do not knowingly use advertising trackers on the site and we do not sell personal data.

Who we are

For the purposes of applicable data protection law, including the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, the data controller for this website is Advanced Analytica Ltd.

If you need our registered address, company number, or want to make a privacy-related enquiry, please contact us via the Contact page.

Information we may collect

Depending on how you use the site, we may process the following categories of personal data:

  • Technical usage data such as IP address, browser type, device information, referring URL, and basic request metadata that may be captured in standard web server or hosting logs.
  • Information you choose to enter into the contact forms, such as your name, email address, company, topic, and message.
  • Information your organisation may share with us through procurement, commercial, or project initiation channels.
  • Communications data if you email us or otherwise correspond with us.

How the contact forms work

The contact forms currently available on this site are designed to send your enquiry to Advanced Analytica by email. The site does not store enquiry data in a website database operated by us.

As currently implemented, form submissions are sent to a small serverless endpoint operated as part of our website infrastructure. That endpoint validates the submission and passes it to our configured email delivery provider so the enquiry can be delivered to Advanced Analytica.

Information you submit through the forms will be processed by our website hosting provider, relevant email delivery infrastructure, and by us as part of normal business correspondence.

How we use personal data

We may use personal data to:

  • operate, secure, and maintain the website;
  • respond to enquiries, briefing requests, and business communications;
  • manage commercial, procurement, and project-related discussions;
  • monitor and investigate misuse, security issues, or technical faults;
  • comply with legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations;
  • establish, exercise, or defend legal claims where necessary.

Our lawful bases

Under UK data protection law, the lawful bases we are most likely to rely on for this website are:

  • Legitimate interests, for running the site securely, responding to business enquiries, and managing ordinary website and commercial operations.
  • Steps prior to entering into a contract, where you or your organisation contact us about services, procurement, or a potential engagement.
  • Legal obligation, where we need to retain or disclose information to comply with applicable law or regulation.
  • Consent, where that is the appropriate basis for a specific activity. If we rely on consent, you can withdraw it.

Cookies and tracking

Based on the current implementation of this site, we do not knowingly use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking technologies, or analytics tags such as Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or similar tools.

If that changes, we will update this policy before deploying the relevant tooling and, where required, provide appropriate cookie notices or consent controls.

Analytics

The site currently includes local search and standard page functionality, but we do not currently see evidence of a dedicated analytics platform collecting visitor behaviour through client-side tracking scripts.

Third parties and external services

This site may involve limited third-party processing where necessary to render or operate the site, including:

  • Hosting and infrastructure providers, which may process technical log data such as IP addresses and request metadata.
  • Google Fonts, which are currently loaded from Google-hosted font infrastructure. When your browser requests those fonts, Google may receive technical data such as your IP address and browser details.
  • Email delivery infrastructure used to route contact form submissions and business correspondence.

We do not permit third parties to use your personal data for their own unrelated marketing purposes through this site.

How long we keep data

We keep personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including to manage enquiries, maintain records of business communications, comply with legal obligations, and protect our legal position where required.

Retention periods vary depending on the nature of the information and the context in which it was provided.

International transfers

Some service providers used in connection with this site may process data outside the UK. Where that happens, we expect appropriate safeguards to be used in line with applicable data protection law.

Security

We take a controlled approach to governance, security, and operational change. No internet-based service can be guaranteed to be completely secure, but we aim to use proportionate technical and organisational measures appropriate to the nature of this website and the information involved.

You can also review our Security page for a high-level summary of our operational posture.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to:

  • request access to personal data we hold about you;
  • request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • request deletion of your personal data in certain circumstances;
  • object to or request restriction of certain processing;
  • request portability of data where that right applies;
  • withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
  • complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office if you believe your data has been handled unlawfully.

We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

Children

This site is intended for business and professional audiences. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children through the site.

Updates to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the site, legal requirements, or the way we operate. The version published on this page is the current version.
